 e and does not involve any sales\, cost\, or subscription. You will not be
  asked for anything other than to listen\, to ask questions if you need so
 mething clarified\, and to be respectful of others.\n\nWho am I?\n\nMy nam
 e is Cezary. Over the past 2 decades I learned how money works in Canada a
 nd how to invest it. I have now reached my financial goals and am sharing 
 what I have learned to help others get started.\n\nWho is this for?\n\nYou
  are ready to start learning about banking and investing\, but feel overwh
 elmed at all the information out there and are looking to understand the f
 oundational basics first.\n\nWhat will we cover?\n\nWe will cover the stru
 cture of the Canadian banking system (not deep\, just enough to help with 
 everything else) and dive into the following:\n\n• Account types (CHQ / 
 SAV\, RRSP\, TFSA\, FHSA\, RESP\, etc)\n• Different holdings (cash\, goo
 d / bad debt\, GIC\, HYSA\, Mutual Funds\, ETFs\, Stocks / Bonds)\n• How
  the above relate to each other and which to use first to reach your goals
 \n• Investment methods and risk tolerance\n• Tax advantages and strate
 gies\n• Common ways to invest (Managed investing vs Self-directed vs Rob
 o-investing)\n• Examples of how to get started at a major bank or broker
 age\n• Additional resources you can use to continue your learning journe
 y\n\nThe session is designed to take \\~30 minutes\, but I encourage quest
 ions during the presentation so expect us to take 45 - 60 minutes to cover
  everything. If you have questions on any topic too advanced for this BASI
 CS session\, I’m happy to answer them after the session.\n\nWhat should 
 you bring / prepare?\n\n• Pen and paper - You will create one chart and 
 take notes as needed\n• Questions you’d like answered - I’m happy to
