SUMMARY:🌕🌊 Let It Be - September Full Moon Beach Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Meeting point\n\nWe'll meet at the Jericho Beach Pier map pin a
t 1300 Discovery St\, on the beach a few metres in front of the washrooms\
, as at our August gathering. I'll post the exact gathering spot in the ev
ent comments before the event.\n\nThere's something about being near the w
ater at night that makes people a little more honest. On Saturday\, Septem
ber 26\, we'll gather at the beach for a relaxed evening of reflection\, s
tillness\, connection\, and a little bit of wonder as we watch the Full Mo
on rise. This is an invitation to pause\, breathe\, notice what's already
clear\, and maybe put down a few things you've been carrying.\n\nThe Full
Moon peaks at 9:49 AM PDT that morning\, with moonrise around 6:46 PM in V
ancouver. We'll use the natural rhythm of the evening as a frame for refle
ction: What am I trying too hard to fix? What am I ready to stop carrying?
And what becomes possible when I make a little more space\n\n🌊 What th
 e evening will feel like\n\n6:00–7:00 PM — Arrive\, settle\, connect W
e'll keep things relaxed at first: beach social time\, snacks and drinks\,
games\, optional swimming\, and easy conversation. No need to show up "in
ritual mode." Come as you are. Meet people. Walk around. Sit by the water
. Swim if you want. Have a snack. Let the evening land. 7:00 - 8:00PM - We
'll gather more intentionally as the Moon rises into the evening sky. We'l
l begin with some gentle breathwork and a guided meditation focused on pre
sence\, release\, and surrender. Rather than trying to solve anything\, we
'll explore the tension between what we can control and what we can't—an
d what happens when we give ourselves permission not to have every answer.
Then we'll journal. You'll be invited to reflect on questions like:\n\n
 • What am I trying too hard to fix?\n• Where have I confused control w
ith responsibility?\n• What feeling or uncertainty am I trying to avoid?
\n• What am I carrying because it once protected me\, but no longer serv
es me?\n• If I didn't need an answer tonight\, what would I want to admi
t?\n• What might become possible if I made a little more space?\n\n🌘
A small release ritual At an earlier gathering\, we burned and buried piec
es of paper with things we wanted to leave behind.\n\nAs in August\, we're
keeping the release symbolic. You'll receive two prompts:\n\n1. Something
I'm willing to stop carrying.\n2. What becomes possible when I make space
for that?\n\nWe won't be burning or burying anything because you don't al
ways need to destroy something to stop carrying it. The point this time is
simply to be honest with yourself about what you're ready to put down and
curious about what might have room to emerge when you do.\n\n🌕 And the
n... we watch\n\nThe Moon rises around 6:46 PM. Weather permitting\, we’
ll watch it climb into the evening sky\; its exact full phase happens that
morning. We'll pause together and simply watch. You don't need to believe
that the Moon causes anything for this to be meaningful. You can think of
the Moon as science\, symbolism\, spiritualism\, or simply a beautiful th
ing happening in the sky. For a few minutes\, we'll just let it be somethi
ng to witness. And perhaps ask: What if I don't need to become someone dif
ferent tonight? What if I just need to see what is already here? After the
  formal portion\, you're welcome to stay\, talk\, walk along the beach\, o
r simply watch the Moon for as long as you'd like.\n\n📝 Bring\n\n• Jo
 urnal + pen\n• Blanket\, mat\, or towel\n• Cozy evening layers: sweate
r / pants\n• Your own drinks and snacks (enough to share if you're feeli
ng it)\n• Swimsuit if you want to swim\n• Optional: oracle cards\, cry
stals\, or another small positive / meaningful personal object\n\nWhen and
  where\n\n📅 Saturday\, September 26\, 2026 🕗 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM PDT
