 ry\n\nA lot of people say they are “working on something.” Then the th
 ing quietly disappears into a notes app\, a half-open document\, a voice m
 emo\, a folder called *New Draft Final Real Final*\, or that dangerous men
 tal place where ideas go to feel productive without becoming real. This ci
 rcle is for bringing the story back into the room. Fiction\, memoir\, scre
 enplay\, comic\, game narrative\, short story\, novel\, strange early idea
  - all welcome. You do not need to bring a polished piece. You do not need
  to read pages aloud. You do not need to pretend your project is more fini
 shed than it is. The point is simpler and more useful: What are you workin
 g on? What moved forward recently? Where are you stuck? What have you lear
 ned? What is the next realistic step? This is not Poetry Night VI. Not an 
 open mic. Not a critique pile-on. Not a lecture. Not generic networking fo
 r people who say “content” too much. A small room for people trying to
  build stories and stay honest about the work.\n\nHow the circle will work
 \n\nEach person will have a little time to talk about their current projec
 t. We’ll keep it focused:\n\n• what you’re making\n• what progress
  you’ve made recently\n• what obstacle is in front of you right now\n
 • one useful craft lesson\, technique\, or realization\n• one realisti
 c next goal\n\nSharing pages aloud is optional. If someone wants to share 
 a short bit\, they can\, but this is not a detailed manuscript critique se
 ssion. The main focus is progress\, clarity\, craft\, and helping each oth
 er keep moving.\n\nThe room I want\n\nPeople who are actually trying to ma
 ke something. Not perfectly. Not professionally. Not with a clean heroic r
 outine. Just honestly. You can be early in the process. You can be stuck. 
 You can be returning after months away. You can have ten pages\, a rough o
 utline\, a character\, a scene\, or a story idea that will not leave you a
 lone. Come with a real project or a real question. Listening counts too.\n
 \nBring\n\nNotebook or laptop if you want. No advance reading. No required
