Short summary

Late summer is upon us! A season turning the corner while everyone begins to ponder about what comes next. This is a relaxed Jericho Beach gathering with a more intentional centre: a beach social arrival, then a simple threshold ritual around release, reset, and choosing what we want to carry forward. Not a full moon event. Not a party. Not therapy. Not professional meditation instruction. Just a small ritual of positivity and possibility on the beach; oracle cards, a meaningful object if you want to bring one, breathwork and meditation, journaling, writing down something to release, and a symbolic non-fire release. No burning paper. No open fire. We’ll keep it grounded: write what you’re releasing, tear the paper, and carry every scrap out with you. The beach gives us so much, it does not need our litter.

How the evening will go

We’ll start with a relaxed beach arrival so people can settle, talk, eat, and get comfortable. Then we’ll move into the intentional part of the evening: oracle-card reading, a short breathwork or meditation moment, journaling, writing down something to release, and a symbolic release ritual without fire. Bring crystals, oracle cards, or another meaningful personal object if that fits you. Or bring nothing mystical at all and just come with paper, a pen, and a little honesty. Belief is welcome. Skepticism is welcome. Performative spirituality is not required.

Important beach note

Jericho Beach is a public, family-friendly beach. Everyone attending through this Meetup should remain in regular beach clothing or swimwear for the whole event. Adults only, 18+. Be respectful, calm, and normal about sharing a public beach.

Bring

Paper and pen. Blanket, mat, or towel. Warm evening layers. Your own snacks and drinks. Optional swimsuit. Optional oracle cards. Optional crystals or another meaningful personal object.

Practical notes

This ritual will not involve actual fire or burning paper. We’ll use a symbolic non-fire release instead. If we tear paper as part of the release, every scrap comes back out with us. This is an outdoor beach event, so dress for the evening and the weather.
