This is not a moon-watching event.

The New Moon is essentially invisible. That is part of the point.

A Full Moon is about illumination, reflection, release. A New Moon is quieter: renewal, beginning, intention, and tending something before it is fully visible.

This is a grounded beach gathering for the last New Moon before autumn. We’ll begin with a relaxed first hour of tarot/oracle reflection (limited to 5 attendees drawn at random), mingling, snacks, and conversation, then settle into a simple renewal ritual around one question:

What in you wants to begin again?

Not therapy. Not fortune-telling. Not clinical meditation instruction. Not a dramatic beach ceremony where everyone has to become a new person by 9 PM.

Just a small evening container: a collective three-card tarot/oracle reflection spread, gentle grounding, private journaling, a private renewal card, one minute of silence at the exact New Moon, and a small LED light to mark the beginning.

Belief is welcome. Skepticism is welcome.

How the evening will feel

From 6:30-7:30 PM, we’ll keep it social and relaxed: arrive, settle, snack, chat, and do one collective three-card tarot/oracle spread together.

No individual readings are promised. The cards are not prediction. They are reflection.

The prompts will be simple:

• What wants to begin?
• What quality will help us tend it?
• What is the first practical step?

After 7:30 PM, we’ll shift into the quieter part of the evening: gentle grounding / renewal meditation, a quiet sunset pause as the light fades, private journaling, and the renewal ritual.

Each person will write a private renewal card:

• something I want to renew
• what I will tend between now and the Full Moon
• one action within the next 48 hours

At 8:27 PM, the exact New Moon, we’ll take one minute of silence, seal the card in an envelope, switch on a small LED light, and take everything home.

After that, there will be optional brief sharing, then we’ll pack up and leave together by 9:00 PM.

Sharing is optional. Participation is optional. Quiet counts.

Bring

• Notebook and pen
• Small card and envelope
• Battery LED light
• Warm layers
• Waterproof-bottom blanket
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Your own water / snacks
• Optional: oracle cards, tarot cards, crystals, or a meaningful personal object

Important beach notes

No real flames. No incense. No amplified sound. No structures. No tearing, burning, burying, or throwing anything into the water. No swimming.

Leave no trace. Everything we bring leaves with us.

Weather dependent. If the weather turns bad, I’ll update the event before we go.
